The Enemanit-Latuma Extended Family Association (ELEFA), a local non-profit organization, has teamed up with local organizations, businesses and individuals hold an all-star local band charity concert, “Friends of Japan” for the victims of the earthquake and tsunami disaster in Japan.

Entry is $3 for adults and $1 for students/children

The relief concert will feature well-known local acts such as Kabol Lal, Lamaran featuring Brother C and Flavah C, M Polen, Bwil ‘M Molo, the Fijian Community and many more. All organizers and performers are 100% volunteers which mean 100% of any donation through the ELEFA Japan Earthquake-Tsunami Relief Fund will go directly to the disaster victims of Japan through the assistance of the Embassy of Japan here in Majuro. At this concert, there is a plan to hold a “candlelight” vigil — using cell phones instead of candles to provide light — to support the people of Japan.
